Visiting WKND: A Popular Café-Restaurant for Families in Ho Chi Minh City

In Ho Chi Minh City, there are several café-restaurants equipped with kids' spaces, and WKND is one of them. What sets WKND apart is its combination of being kid-friendly, stylish, and serving delicious food – a rare find.

I recently revisited and want to share my experience.

The entrance resembles a villa, complete with a lovely staircase (though a bit challenging for strollers, staff are happy to assist).

Right by the entrance is the kids' space, clearly visible, allowing parents to dine while easily watching their children. This area can also host children’s birthday parties.

On the opposite side of the kids' space, you'll find pastries and desserts displayed, all tantalizingly delicious and elegantly presented, albeit priced a bit higher for Ho Chi Minh but worth it for their quality.

Deeper inside, the ambiance shifts to a more adult atmosphere with counter and table seating, slightly dimmer but perfect for a peaceful meal away from the busyness.

Even further back, an outdoor seating area surrounded by greenery offers a serene dining experience.

I chose to sit outside and, arriving right at the 7:30 opening, was greeted by a refreshing breeze.

My favorite dish was the Salmon huli huli Bowl, a nutritious and delectable choice with plump salmon atop mixed grains, along with grilled onions and vegetables, offering a complete meal in one dish.

For dessert, we ordered carrot cake and tiramisu, both delightfully not too sweet. I personally loved the carrot cake for its spice.

WKND is a haven where both adults and children can enjoy themselves in a stylish and delicious setting. If you have the chance, I highly recommend visiting.
