Flagstaff Gardens

It's the morning of our second day in Melbourne. Once again, we start our day playing at Flagstaff Gardens. We let the kids play to their hearts' content in the park.
Afterward, we get our caffeine fix at OKO CAFE nearby. The staff member was Vietnamese, which made me feel a connection (you know, Vietnam has great coffee too!). Their Flat White was delicious!

Melbourne Museum

Today's destination is the Melbourne Museum. I'd heard it has a well-equipped, free play area for children, so I was looking forward to it.
Museum entry is $15 for adults, free for children under 3. There's a nice cafeteria inside where we had quiche, sandwiches, and muffins for lunch. The kids' area was spacious and open as rumored! It was full of interactive play opportunities, which our children enjoyed immensely.

Royal Arcade

After the museum, we headed to the Royal Arcade, Australia's oldest arcade. It's lined with stylish shops. We didn't see the famous Gog and Magog clock in action, but it was cute. There was even a shop with Dr. Seuss illustrations, which I loved as a child.

Street Art

After window shopping, we went to Flinders Street, famous for its street art. The constantly changing artworks were inspiring, reminding us of the fleeting nature of moments.

LUNE - World's Best Croissant

Next, we visited the famous croissant shop, LUNE. Despite it being around 3 PM, there was still a queue. We bought a regular croissant and an almond croissant. The regular one was rich and delicious, with a fragrant butter aroma. The almond croissant was more like a dessert, filled generously with a fragrant almond filling - one is enough to fill you up.
Note: They only accept card payments, no cash. Also, there's a step at the entrance, making it difficult with a stroller. We enjoyed our croissants in a nearby park.
Afterward, we took a walk and stopped by a supermarket to buy steak and soup. Exploring local supermarkets is one of my secret pleasures when traveling. We returned to our accommodation, cooked dinner, and relaxed to end our second day.
I've also posted a detailed vlog on YouTube if you'd like to see more.
Thank you for reading to the end. Day 3 coming soon!
